Amelia Maxwell

Amelia Maxwell is a Toronto-based musician. First and foremost a songwriter, she gravitates to folk-rock music, pairing melodic resolution with idiosyncratic lyricism that deals with queerness, grief, nostalgia, and disaffection. Amelia has spent the last decade writing music that she is now performing at venues across Canada Toronto venues such as The Baby G, The Piston, Burdock Brewery, and The Drake Underground. Amelia performs her original music with drummer Robyn Bond and bassist Steven Noronha. She just finished her forthcoming debut EP, funded by Toronto Arts Council, which will be released early 2025.
