Hailing from Toronto, Cold Weather Captains are a high-energy rock band known for their funky and eclectic sound, blending blues, psychedelic rock, funk, and hip-hop. Formed in 2018 as an instrumental trio, they later expanded by adding vocals and bass, transforming into a full powerhouse. Their 2023 debut album earned Best Male Vocals and nominations for Best Album and Best Sound Production from Indie Boulevard Magazine. Recent notable performances include the 165th King’s Plate and Rock Symphony with Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra. In 2024, they became a Top 12 finalist in 97.7 HTZ-FM Rock Search.
