BBQ Pope
BBQ Pope is what you would get if Nirvana and Pixies had a baby. Formed in 2015, the Toronto-based three-piece rock band has become a staple of the Canadian indie and punk scene. Fusing elements of power pop, psychedelia, and indie punk rock, BBQ Pope creates a dynamic and ear-catching sound paired with an unforgettably energetic live show. Their electric performances have earned them spots alongside artists such as The Dirty Nil, Chastity, Fat Tony, and Luna Li. With a debut LP, two EPs, and several singles already released, 2025 marks the arrival of their highly anticipated sophomore album, UNFURL.
