The AMAZON PRIME People’s Choice Award celebrates the NXNE artist who creates the biggest connection with fans during the festival — both on stage and online.
Sponsored by Amazon Prime for Young Adults, this award is about more than just performing. It’s about building momentum, creating excitement, and rallying your audience to show up, engage, and vote. Artists are encouraged to promote their showcases through creative and consistent campaigns across social media, email, street teams, content creation, fan engagement, and live performances throughout NXNE week.
For artists, this is an opportunity to grow your audience, increase visibility, and prove you can turn attention into community. The more energy you bring to promoting your band and your NXNE showcases, the stronger your chances of winning.
For fans, your vote helps spotlight the artists you believe deserve to break through. By voting, attending shows, sharing content, and supporting your favourite bands, you become part of their journey and help shape one of NXNE’s most exciting artist success stories.

The AMAZON PRIME People’s Choice Award winner will be announced live at the NXNE Closing Party on Sunday, June 14.
Voting closes Sunday, June 14 at 2:00 AM EST.
2025 People’s Choice Award Winner: DAPHNE
In 2025, DAPHNE took home the People’s Choice Award after performing her sold-out show at Burdock Music Hall.
She took home the grand prize, in addition to hundreds of new fans, and the pride and excitement of being chosen as the favourite.
In March 2026, DAPHNE performed at The Drake Underground as part of her reign as the NXNE 2025 People’s Choice Awards winner. Another sold-out show, the night was a success, and we continue to watch with pride as DAPHNE soars higher and higher.
