An experimental-pop band formed by Toronto musician Jess Burgess with Mitch Lohmeier (drums), Jordan Omstead (bass), Irwan Poerba (guitar & vocals), and Aaron Rambhajan (keys & guitar), their performances have evolved into a genre-bending exploration of sound and movement, featuring dance artists Alison Lobsinger and Ray Turner. Inspired by musical forces like Kate Bush, Prince and Björk, Essie Watts believes in the power of building a world around the music and inviting the audience in.
