FREIGHTLINER is re-imagining heartland rock and americana with their latest material paying homage to the greats in classic alternative country with heartland icons, fusing influence from The Band to The Byrds, and Tom Petty to Bruce Springsteen.
With the new country rock movement of the 2020s deep underway, FREIGHTLINER is weaving in Canadiana influence through clever lyrics and northern references. Starting in 2019 as a three piece, FREIGHTLINER has made a name for themselves through flexible performances atop festival stages and intimate shows in alternative venues across Southwestern Ontario.
Now they're embracing their sound in an electric era with dive bar bangers that inspire rounds of whiskey shots and dance-able odes to loves long gone. Fronted by songwriter Innes Wilson with R.P. McMurphy on guitar, Joshua Osmond on drums and Liam Vickery on bass, Freightliner is taking to the stage to represent heartland rock for a new generation
