Lex Leosis
Lex Leosis is a decorated hip-hop artist who uses her voice like a weapon. Known for slick lyricism, she began in Toronto’s rap battle scene in the mid-2010s. Before going solo, she joined Haviah Mighty, Keysha Freshh, and Phoenix Pagliacci in The Sorority, named one of Canada’s greatest rap groups by Exclaim!
She launched her solo career in 2020, releasing two projects during lockdown and building a strong TikTok audience through freestyle videos. Her EP Terracotta landed placements in CBC’s Pretty Hard Cases and Run the Burbs. In 2022, she toured 40+ cities across North America with Snotty Nose Rez Kids, followed by her own shows and festival dates in 2023.
After a serious ATV accident in Iceland that left her with cracked ribs and a punctured lung, Lex spent months recovering. During that time, she kept releasing singles and collaborations.
In 2025, she dropped “Famous On The Weekend” and the 9-track collab project Sorry for Asking with LA-based CALLMESTEVIERAY. Her next album, don’t get hurt, arrives in stages, leading to the full release in March 2026.
