Mopao Mumu
Born in Kinshasa and raised in South Africa, Mopao Mumu has been reshaping the Canadian music scene since 2020. She has collaborated with artists such as Pierre Kwenders, DJ Karaba, Lou Phelps, and Nico de Andrea. Her magnetic performances — most notably at the 2023 Montreal International Jazz Festival and her sold-out 2024 Studio TD show — have cemented her reputation as a powerful live act.
Supported by icons like Kaytranada, Black Coffee, and Nk.F (producer for PNL, Damso, and Orelsan), Mopao Mumu’s new project Collide further establishes her as one of Canada’s most exciting emerging voices in R&B and soul.
