The Wild Palominos
New faces on the Quebec music scene since 2023, The Wild Palominos are a neo-traditional country/folk band from Montmagny, QC. They offer a country sound inspired by some of America’s greatest country legends such as Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Brooks & Dunn. They released their first EP, You Like Missing Me, in 2023, followed by Cottage Sessions, a live collection of those early songs.
They quickly built momentum with festival performances at Lasso Montréal, Festival Country Lotbinière, Norwest Festival, and Festival Western de St-Tite. Their debut full-length album, Wilder, dropped in September 2024, followed by a series of Quebec shows and a showcase at Canadian Country Music Week in Edmonton.
Summer 2025 saw the band continue their expansion across Canada with standout performances at Cavendish Beach Music Festival, where they had the honour of opening for Shania Twain, as well as shows in Alberta, including Country Thunder. Riding this momentum, The Wild Palominos are preparing their next album, Dancehall Revival, set for release in Fall 2026. The first single arrives this October, giving fans a taste of a project that brings back the best of ’90s country with a fresh, modern twist.
