Emily Kempe is a Toronto-based live music professional with experience in concert booking, festival programming, and event production. As the Entertainment Manager & Talent Buyer at the Canadian National Exhibition (fondly known as The Ex), Emily works closely with agents, managers, and industry partners to connect audiences with great music throughout the 18-day event. Through her work producing and booking, Emily has seen firsthand how the festival landscape has evolved, from rising costs and artist availability to increased competition for talent. She is passionate about creating memorable live experiences and helping ensure the long-term success of Canada's music industry.
