The Montreal-based band is a female-fronted industrial rock duo formed by versatile singer, guitarist, bassist, and keyboardist Zenab “Zee” Jaber, alongside drummer, keyboardist, and programmer Frederic Gauthier. Their sound blends groove-driven heaviness with moody, poetic intensity, drawing from metal, prog, rock, industrial, cultural influences, and film scores.
Linx’s raw charisma and hypnotic stage presence, paired with the force of their sound, have earned them a growing fan base and a strong live reputation. Their 13-track debut album, Annihilation, delivers on the anticipation. Bold and expansive, the record pairs electrifying production with sharp, introspective lyrics that often read like poetry.
